M22759/84 wires are large size, high-performance aerospace hook-up wires insulated with four layers of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tape and PTFE/ polyimide/PTFE tape, with an outer layer of polyamide braid for superior abrasion resistance. The preferred color of the polyimide braid is dark green with the color designator 5D. White is an acceptable alternate with a color designator 9. These wires are designed for aerospace and other applications requiring excellent thermal stability and abrasion resistance.
