AS23053/12, formerly M23053/12, is a polytetrafluoroethylene insulation sleeving. This heat shrink tubing is chemical resistant and features a continuous operating temperature of -88 °F TO +482 °F (-67 °C TO +250 °C), making it a good choice for high temperature applications and tough environmental conditions. Supplied in clear (transparent milk white to light tan), or a variety of color options, this material is available in a multitude of classes: Class 1 thick wall sleeving, Class 2 standard wall sleeving, Class 3 thin wall sleeving, Class 4 very thin wall sleeving, all with a 2:1 shrink ratio, and Class 5 high shrink, thin wall sleeving with a 4:1 shrink ratio. AS23053/12 polytetrafluoroethylene insulation sleeving is intended for use in areas where resistance to flame and high temperatures are required.
