The snap-in splice chip will support 12 loose tube splices or 3 mass fusion (36 fibers) splices, with the ability to store up to 8 feet per buffer tube. The terminal cable entry point uses a split sleeve grommet design for easy installation. The slide out adapter plate allows installers easy access for cleaning or testing connectors, if required. The bulkhead allows for mounting of optical components, splitters, WDMs and DWDMs. When accessing the terminal, a standard can wrench is the only tool required. The terminal can be deployed above grade, below grade, on a pole mount, or in an aerial mount.
