M16878/6-BCE-2 is a 28 AWG Silver plated copper conductor general purpose electronic hook-up wire with a single layer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) insulation. This wire is resistant to thermal aging, solder iron damage, open flames, moisture, solvents, grease, ozone and other chemicals. Commonly used in high temperature internal electronic applications, these wires have low power loss and are ideal for applications requiring high frequency. This specification is currently referred to as NEMA HP3 Type ET
